Course Descriptions

This course is an introduction to Antecedent Based Interventions (ABIs). ABIs focus on changing events that occur before problem behaviors in order to improve behavior. The online course has been divided into seven 1-hour modules that can be accessed through the Antecedent Based Interventions modules page.

This course will explain how behavior is learned and changed through experience. This training will provide a foundation for understanding behavior.

Essential Classroom Behavior Management Strategies is an interactive training designed to help the general educator promote positive behaviors in the classroom. The online course has been divided into seven 1-hour modules that can be accessed through the Essential Classroom Behavior Management Strategies (ECBMS) Modules page.

This course provides an overview of what is involved in the FBA process. You will learn the definition of FBA, why an FBA is needed, when it is required, and how to use the downloadable FBA Process Guide in the development of the FBA. The online course has been divided into 14 1-hour modules that can be accessed through the Functional Behavioral Assessment modules page.

In this course, you will be introduced to the Student Intervention Matching (SIM) Form, which helps match the behaviors exhibited by the student to possible Tier II interventions.The online course has been divided into seven 1-hour modules that can be accessed through the Targeted Behavior Interventions modules page.
