DESCRIPTION:Join us for an interactive and engaging day designed specifically for school behavior teams! This professional learning opportunity brings teams together to collaborate\, share strategies\, and strengthen the behavioral support systems within their buildings. Throughout the session\, participants will work alongside other schools to explore and refine their own Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) for behavior. Teams will have the opportunity to: \n\nLearn from each other’s successes and challenges\nExplore a variety of reward and discipline systems in use across schools\nIdentify strengths and gaps in their current practices\nDevelop action plans to enhance Tier 1\, Tier 2\, and Tier 3 behavioral supports\n\nWhether your team is just getting started or looking to refine existing systems\, this day offers a valuable space to grow\, collaborate\, and leave with practical tools to support all students more effectively. SUMMARY:The ABCs of Behavior: Essential Behavior Concepts
DESCRIPTION:The ABCs of Behavior: Essential Behavior Concepts provides a foundation for understanding behavior\, how to define it\, and the factors that influence it. This training focuses on exploring the building blocks of behavior\, including the ABC contingency (antecedents\, behavior\, and consequences)\, setting events\, and the function of behavior. Participants will also be introduced to function-based interventions\, equipping them with tools to address behavior challenges effectively and support positive outcomes for all students. \nIn order for the training to be held\, there must be at least ten (10) participants registered. The Arkansas Behavior Specialists are committed to making our events accessible to everyone.  If you require accommodations\, please email the BSS trainer as soon as possible.
