SUMMARY:Unraveling the Story of Behavior: A Journey through Functional Behavior Assessment
DESCRIPTION:During this training\, participants will journey through the functional behavior assessment process utilizing the AR BSS “FBA Process Guide” to unravel the story behind the function of a student’s behavior. Key components of the FBA process include: determining the need for an FBA\, defining target behaviors\, and conducting indirect and direct assessments. This training addresses High Leverage Practice (HLP) 10: Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments to Develop Individual Student Behavior Support Plans. \n  \nIn order for the training to be held\, there must be at least ten (10) participants registered. Participants will utilize a behavior intervention plan template created by Arkansas BSS to identify components to include in a BIP. At the end of this training\, participants will have a greater understanding of each component. \nIn order for the training to be held\, there must be at least ten (10) participants registered.
