BSS provide ARTASC support to school-based teams with a Special Education staff member who provides special education services or supports to students with disabilities who are exhibiting urgent, critical, or emergent needs for chronic/severely disruptive behaviors. The BSS do not provide direct student services or serve on IEP teams. Requests can be made by Superintendents, Special Education Administrators and Supervisors, and Building Administrators.
